The 2026 European Tour of Bodyboard (ETB) kicked off with Boogie Chicks, a women-only event that once again highlighted the growth and strength of female bodyboarding in Europe.
The competition brought together more than 200 athletes, confirming the event as one of the largest celebrations of women’s bodyboarding on the continent. Across both Open and Junior divisions, riders delivered outstanding performances in a day marked by high-level competition and progression.

In the Open category, Brazil’s Luna Hardman claimed victory with a score of 10.95, narrowly ahead of Portugal’s Filipa Broeiro (10.90) and Luana Dourado (10.60). Teresa Pardela completed the final standings.
In the Junior division, Luana Dourado stood out with a dominant performance, taking first place with 12.50 points. She was followed by Carolina Dias (11.75), Sofia Pinheiro (7.60), and Maria Costa.

The event crowned the first European Junior and Open winners of the 2026 season, showcasing both emerging talent and established athletes on the European stage.
With a strong competitive level and record participation, Boogie Chicks once again reinforced its mission to promote women’s participation in surfing and inspire the next generation of riders across Europe.
